This policy explains how A&C Labs LLC handles information when you use Intake.
Who we are
Intake is operated by Intake Macro Tracker. This policy explains how Intake Macro Tracker collects, uses, stores and shares information when you use Intake.
Information you choose to add
Intake lets you record food, nutrition, workouts, body weight, goals, progress photos and optional challenge activity. If you create an account, we process your sign-in details, such as your email address. You may also add a name and profile picture or contact us with feedback.
Where information goes
Guest food, workouts, weight and profile information stay on your device, separate from account records. Signed-in records may be sent to our private cloud storage for synchronization; recently used food and scan data may also be cached on your device for offline use. Progress photos you upload are stored in private account storage.
Photos, AI and food lookups
Nutrition-label photos are read on your device. Meal photos you submit for an estimate are securely sent to our AI service to identify foods and estimate portions and nutrition. Food searches and barcode lookups send search terms or barcode numbers to nutrition data providers, including USDA and Open Food Facts; FatSecret is used when available. Progress photos are uploaded only when you choose to add them.
Payments, reminders and community
If you purchase an Athlete subscription, Google Play processes the purchase and provides us with subscription status; we do not receive your full payment-card number. Reminders are scheduled on your phone. Private challenge information is stored with your account, while the profile information you choose to make visible can help other members find you.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure Intake, synchronize your records, calculate requested estimates, personalize coaching when enabled, support community features, remember your preferences, respond to requests and understand app performance when analytics is enabled.
Website download links
We count clicks on website Google Play links by day and button location, without saving visitor identifiers, cookies or account details for this counter. Repeat clicks count separately; clicks do not confirm an installation. Google Play links include a website campaign label so Google can report referral performance.
Service providers and disclosures
We use Lovable Cloud for account sign-in and private data storage, nutrition data providers for requested searches, an AI service for meal-photo estimates, and payment or email providers when those services are active. They process only information needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or rights, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
Sale and targeted advertising
Intake Macro Tracker does not sell your personal information for money. You can use California Privacy Choices to opt out of sale or sharing as those terms are defined by California law.
Feedback
If you choose to email feedback, your mail app prepares a message addressed to us. The message is sent only when you tap Send there. Please avoid including passwords or sensitive information in feedback.
How long information is kept
Device-stored records stay on your device until you remove them or clear the app’s data. Account records are kept while needed to provide the app. You can request deletion of account-associated records, subject to records we must keep for legal or operational reasons.
Your choices and requests
You can remove food logs and saved scans in Intake, change personalization, sharing and email choices in Settings, and clear device-stored data through your phone. To ask for access, correction or deletion, email us. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before acting on a request.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no method is completely secure. Intake is for adults age 18 or older and is not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this notice as Intake changes. The current version and its date will appear here.
